7th Pay Commission Latest News Today : After massive Diwali bonanza, here comes the big New Year gift for the Central government employees. As per media reports, the Centre is likely to increase the house rent allowance (HRA) of the government employees. This comes after the recent DA hike that was granted to them in October this year. If the HRA is increased, then the salary of the Central government employees will increase massively in New Year. If it is granted, the hike will be done as per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission. During Diwali time, the Central government had increased the DA of the employees by 3%. As per the updates, the government employees are now getting 31% DA hike. Other media reports suggested that the Centre could grant another DA hike along with an increase in HRA in January 2022. Noida Couple Dead, 6-Year-Old Daughter Injured After Truck Topples Onto Car in Delhi’s RK Puram

New Delhi: A Noida couple were killed while their six-year-old daughter suffered severe injuries after a truck hit a divider and overturned on their car near the Hyatt Regency hotel in Delhi’s RK Puram . The accident occurred around midnight on Wednesday. The couple, Manish Sharma (37) and Shipra Joshi (32), were driving to their home in Noida, along with their daughter, when a truck carrying gravel overturned. The couple, who died a day after their marriage anniversary, were returning home from Sharma’s brother house in Rajasthan’s Bhiwadi. Joshi was a homemaker, and Sharma worked as a legal consultant with a private firm. A hydraulic crane was deployed at the spot to help with rescue efforts, after personnel from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) and police failed to free the couple and the child from the car, which was practically flattened. Bengaluru: The voting for the biennial election to the Karnataka Legislative Council’s 25 seats from 20 Local Authorities’ Constituencies began at 8 am on Friday amid tight security. The polling for Karnataka MLC Polls 2021 where 90 candidates are in the fray will end at 4 am. The results for Karnataka MLC Election 2021 will be declared on December 14. The elections is being held for two seats each from the local authorities constituencies of Bijapur, Belgaum, Dharwad, Dakshina Kannada and Mysuru; and one each from Bidar, Gulbarga, Uttara Kannada, Raichur, Bellary, Chitradurga, Shivamogga, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Tumakuru, Mandya, Bangalore, Bangalore Rural, Kolar and Kodagu. Mexico: A cargo truck jammed with people who appeared to be Central American migrants rolled over and crashed into a pedestrian bridge over a highway in southern Mexico on Thursday, killing at least 53 people and injuring dozens more, authorities reported. The federal Attorney General’s Office said the preliminary estimate lists 53 dead, with three of the injured in critical condition. Luis Manuel Moreno, the head of the Chiapas state civil defense office, said about 21 of the injured had serious wounds and were taken to local hospitals. The crash occurred on a highway leading toward the Chiapas state capital. Photos from the scene showed victims strewn across the pavement and inside the truck’s freight compartment.
