11 Dead, 4 Injured in Road Accident at Bulhad-Baila Road of Uttarakhand’s Dehradun

Dehradun: At least 11 people have died, 4 others injured in a road accident in Uttarakhand’s Chakrata on Sunday. The accident happened at the Bulhad-Baila road in Chakrata tehsil of the state’s Dehradun district when a utility vehicle fell into a ditch. Chakrata sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) immediately rushed to the spot along with local police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), reported news agency ANI.

As per reports, rescue work is currently underway with the help of local residents, said officials. The accident spot is reportedly in a remote area of Tiuni in the Chakrata tehsil, about 170km from the state capital of Dehradun.
